A new website for an undergraduate research program, funded by the National Science Foundation and managed by Georgia Institute of Technology has gone live.
Students and faculty nationwide use the website to learn about summer research programs for undergraduate studies. McGregor Shott worked with several universities to collect and add content, creating all pages easily viewable on browser, tablet or smartphone.
The website has been well received and McGregor Shott is now creating two more websites for the client.

• The City of Fontana works with the company to create special events brochures, street banners and merchandising for their arts and recreation programs.
• The City of Menifee enlisted McGregor Shott to provide a new rebranding of their economic development materials to include multi page booklets, email banners, street banners and tradeshow graphics.

Certification Awarded as DBE and SBE by State of California
We are pleased to announce after a careful review and application process, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) has determined McGregor Shott meets the eligibility standards to be certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) as required under the U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) Regulation 49 CFR Part 26, as amended. This certification will be recognized by all of the U.S. DOT recipients in California.

McGregor Shott Dreams Up Art for Pasadena Museum Science Fiction Show
McGregor Shott recently finished designs for the Pasadena Museum of History, which included art for exhibit “Dreaming the Universe: The Intersection of Science, Fiction, & Southern California.” "Dreaming" explored the history of science fiction in Southern California from the 1930s to the 1980s. These rare collections showcased how science, fiction, and Southern California converged together, merging academia, aerospace, pop-culture production, science fiction fans and shifts in American society.
“Pleased with McGregor Shott’s designs, the director of the Museum’s collections wrote: “You beautifully conveyed the excitement and joy of the genre and your artwork is sure to attract many, many visitors to the exhibition. In fact, we opened with record-breaking attendance of almost 500 people on the first day.” ”
Materials for the show included posters, banners, advertising, and signage. The exhibit runs from March 3 thorugh September 2, 2018.

New logo created for Pasadena Museum of History exhibition

McGregor Shott has recently designed the new logo for the Pasadena Museum of History. The exhibition, which runs September 2017 through February 2018, is titled: Royals of Pasadena: Tournament of Roses Queen and Court. It elaborates on the history of the Royal Court of the Tournament of Roses since 1905, including coronation gowns, accessories and photos.
The exhibition committee was looking for an elegant and graceful logo to capture the beauty and essence of the history of the Royal Court. The chosen design appears here.
The company has created the logo, posters and banners for the museum.

Following a RFP process, the City of Fontana has selected McGregor Shott as one if its contracted firms for ongoing graphics and branding projects. The City of Fontana is the second largest city in San Bernardino County, and the 20th largest in the State of California.
